Justine Szafran ’19 earned her B.A. at Carleton College in Studio Art and Political Science.
Statement: In my work I am interested in exploring how documentation and suggestion operate together. I create most of my drawings directly from my environment. By doing this, I aim to better understand place and my life’s relationship to it.
